Kathryn Bernardo joins viral ‘12 Grapes Under the Table’ tradition to welcome 2025

Kathryn Bernardo started 2025 on a festive note by taking part in the popular New Year’s Eve tradition of eating 12 grapes under the table.

A video shared by her mother, Min Bernardo, on Instagram shows the actress embracing the unique ritual believed to bring good fortune in the coming year. The tradition calls for eating 12 grapes within the first minute of the new year, with each grape representing a wish for the months ahead.

Dressed in a chic blue-and-white polka dot tube top paired with white pants, Kathryn also followed another popular superstition: jumping in place to attract more luck for the year.

Kathryn enters 2025 fresh off the success of ‘Hello, Love, Again’, the sequel to her 2019 box office hit ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ with Alden Richards. The original film remains the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time, earning over ₱1.4 billion globally.

Fans are eagerly anticipating what’s next for Kathryn as she continues to captivate audiences with her acting and charm.

Here’s wishing Kathryn and her family a prosperous New Year!
